Installing PABXSoft onto Windows Vista

To install PABXSoft on Vista UAC must be turned off prior to installation.

Turn off UAC
Click the Start icon then Control Panel and User Accounts
Then "Turn User Account Control on or off"
Uncheck the box "Use User Account Control (UAC)" and then OK
Re-boot your computer if prompted.

If UAC is not turned off error messages may appear during installation
and the Call Collector Windows Service will not register.

Turning on the RUN command

In Vista the RUN function is not normally available by default.

If the RUN button is not visible in Vista...

RIGHT CLICK the Start Icon
LEFT CLICK Properties
Click Customize
Scroll down and Click RUN COMMAND
Click OK, OK
